Enough with the French!

Now that everyone has had a chance to play Claire: The exchange student, I decided to have one last post-launch write-up about the game.

First I want to thank Leonizer and Chestnut Shuffles for their work on the game.  For those of you who aren't aware this was Chestnut's first game with us and I think he did a fine job with the graphics on this one.  I'm curious to see what his next game is going to look like as well.

Look Ma, No Nipples!

Speaking of graphics, I actually made a small contribution to the project this time.  In an earlier post, I mentioned how I wanted to acquire some more art for this game.  Well, I wasn't quite satisfied with one of the pieces, so I took it upon myself make a rather quick and dirty fix.

By now most of you are aware that there is a scene where Claire asks Kendra to pose topless for her to draw.  In the original files I received this particular piece of artwork wasn't in existence.  It wasn't until I got my hands on the test version of the game that I saw the image for that scene.  I'm not knocking anyone's talent here, without each person on this team this game never would have been possible, but that particular piece of artwork...  It just wouldn't do.

Unfortunatly I didn't have the time, nor do I have the artistic talent, to draw up an actual sketch of Kendra on paper that would reflect Claire's incredible skills as an artist.  So I did what anyone would do...  I cheated.

Using a combination of filters, layers, and some editing I whipped up an "artistic" version of the above image and sent two versions off to Leonizer along with my updated draft fixing all my mistakes with the script.  The two images I sent were identical only except for the fact that one was a version with full color and the other, which made it into the game, was more subdued.

Oh, there it is!

Finally, I'd like to add, that your comments and thoughts are important to us and we really do appreciate it when you let us know when we do good and when we screw up.

The first released version was bit demanding on what needed to be done to entice Claire, and that was an easy fix, so now it's easier to get into the bathroom to see those scenes with Claire, and David out by the pool.

There have also been A LOT of requests for a threesome.  Unfortunately that will not be happening in this game.  But we understand the desire to see more sex and more ways to have sex, especially when there are two hot babes and one guy with a cock ready to go.  It might not be the next game, or the one after that, but we will try to make you happy.  We are always trying to improve our craft, and for that, we need your feedback.

Speaking of which, the next game I'll be working on will be something you can sink your teeth into...
