Or how we pissed off China...
Leonizer let me have the script for Jack Wells' latest adventure to look over while the game gets ready for publication. This time I was just reviewing the script and making changes for editing purposes, so I didn't have anything to do with the story or characters. That has been handled by I.L. who did the work on the original Jack Wells' game: 7 Day Quest.
Unfortunately, for me, I wasn't able to work with a playable version of the game so I had only the script itself to reference for the story. What this means is, I don't know in what context many of the lines are in, so I could only try to extrapolate what was happening by reading through the script multiple times. Even then, some lines still don't make sense to me, and won't until I get a chance to play the game.
Even so, I was able to get a lot done editing-wise. And I feel that the majority of my involvement on the project is about done. Leonizer already has the script I sent him, and hopefully the next time I see the game there will only be a few minor corrections to the script to make it ready for public consumption.
Editing really is the first work I did for Leonizer, and I'll be honest, it's nice to come back to projects like this in between writing out full scripts for new games. I get to see what other people are working on, and hopefully my little contributions to their projects are appreciated.
Finally I'd like to apologize to any descendants and relatives of the late Qín Shǐ Huáng and to the lovely people of Húnán Shěng. (It's not my fault, really!)
